Longtime Boxer & Gerson, LLP Partner Bert Arnold represents injured workers and their families before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) of the State of California. He has litigated thousands of cases before the WCAB and presented many issues to the Courts of Appeal since beginning his practice in 1986.

Bert has been recognized as a certified specialist in workers’ compensation by the State Bar of California since 2002. He also serves as president of the Board of Governors of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA), after having served as president of its East Bay chapter in the past. He has been recognized on multiple occasions in a San Francisco magazine survey of his peers as a Northern California “Super Lawyer” in workers’ compensation.

Bert has lectured extensively before unions and various groups in the workers’ compensation system, including CAAA educational panels, California Defense Attorneys Association seminars and trainings, for State Bar of California educational panels, in front of doctor groups, and many others.

In addition to his work on behalf of injured workers and their families, Bert has extensive experience in criminal and civil litigation.
