Warren A. Pulley brought the experience of a 20-year legal career with him to Boxer & Gerson, LLP when he joined the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group in January, 2016. Previously, he enjoyed a 15-year tenure as principal founding partner of Pulley and Cohen in Oakland, where he was named the California State Bar Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney of the Year in 2012.
Warren’s great breadth of experience includes representing hundreds of injured workers as well as the interests of self-insureds, carriers and third-party administrators. He serves frequently as a lecturer and panelist at legal and trade association conferences around California.
Warren was a 1986 honors graduate from the University of San Francisco, where he was a Presidential Scholarship recipient and active on numerous boards, campus groups and student body offices. He then enrolled at Creighton University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. degree and was again active in a number of campus organizations.
His community engagement continues today in a variety of civic groups to which he devotes significant amounts of his spare time. Among them is the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, where he serves as chairman of the scholarship program.
