Justin M. Litvack Associate

Justin M. Litvack

Oakland, California

Justin Litvack hails from a family of legal professionals, the majority of whom specialized in employment-related fields. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, he went north to the University of Washington for his undergraduate degree before returning for law school at Santa Clara University.

Justin spent the first seven years of his career on the defense side of the table as a partner at a prominent workers’ compensation firm, where he represented both large self-insured employers and many different insurance carriers. When he began to see that injured workers often had a difficult time collecting benefits to which they were entitled, he decided to switch his focus to injured workers, helping them to navigate the state’s complex workers’ compensation system. He values his experience in the insurance world for providing him with unique insights into defense tactics frequently aimed at delaying the delivery of benefits to deserving injured workers.

When he is not advocating on behalf of clients, Justin can often be found watching a ball game and/or spending time with his family.
