DWC PUBLIC FORUM

On Tuesday, February 20, the California Division of Workers’ Compensation is holding a public forum on a study it has been conducting concerning return to work data and wage replacement.

This meeting may provide important clues as to the Schwarzenegger Administration’s position on amendments to the woefully inadequate permanent disability rating schedule. There will be a limited time for public questions and comments.

The meeting is free. It is scheduled for 2/20/07 from 1 to 5 pm at the Milton Marks Conference Center in the State Building at 455 Golden Gate Avenue (near City Center in San Francisco; in the same building as the San Francisco WCAB district office and the California Supreme Court).

In a post last week, I described a February 15 Los Angeles public forum held by the California Division of Workers’ Compensation.

Interested injured workers may want to consider showing up.
