	September 27, 2006 Boxer & Gerson Brings in Elder Abuse Expert and Expands Worker’s Compensation Group Boxer & Gerson, LLP announced today that Felicia C. Curran and Arjuna H. Farnsworth have joined the firm as associates. Ms. Curran, who is experienced in all areas of elder abuse, therapist abuse, nursing home litigation and medical malpractice, will build the firm’s elder abuse litigation group. She has over 10 years of experience in the area and has represented elderly and disabled adults and their families in connection with numerous types of lawsuits. Mr. Farnsworth joins the firm’s already established and premier worker’s compensation practice. He is experienced in handling worker’s compensation cases. As an associate at Brown and McDevitt in Larkspur, Mr. Farnsworth was lead counsel in more than 500 worker’s compensation cases. "I am not aware of any other firm in Northern California that integrates civil and worker’s compensation practices as deliberately and completely as we do," said John M. Aside from her practice in elder abuse and medical malpractice, Ms. Curran also has served as legal advisor to the Oakland Unified School District, where she assisted on lawsuits involving employment issues, negligence supervision of children, dangerous conditions of public property and sexual harassment of students by teachers. Before joining Boxer & Gerson, Ms. Curran was an associate at the Law Offices of John Winer, and Sterns & Walker. She graduated from Hastings College of Law. Prior to that she was a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley. Ms. Curran has an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Pitzer College in Claremont. Mr. Farnsworth also graduated from Hastings College of Law and earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
