Approximately 125 members of the workers' compensation community including applicant and defense attorneys, WCAB staff, judges, physicians, and others gathered at the office on 12/13 and donated hundreds of presents and several thousand dollars to the City of Oakland Toys for Tots program. The event was once again co-sponsored by Boxer & Gerson LLP and Hanna, Brophy et al of Oakland. Mayor Jean Quan was present and spoke of the increasing need for the toy program this year as the economy continues to struggle and she thanked all in attendance for their support. Maria Sager of the Workers' Compensation Practice Group and legal assistant Sharene Ross joined by litigation secretary Angie Harrison organized the event as did Keith Epstein of the Hanna, Brophy office.
