His term expires in 2010. Members of the California Workers' Compensation Law Advisory Commission provide advice and counsel to the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. This includes drafting and grading the attorney exam for workers comp specialization. The commission is comprised of prominent applicant and defense lawyers as well as a public member representative.
Mr. Gerson is a past president of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association and a founding partner at Boxer & Gerson LLP.
