Bert Arnold

A Partner at Boxer & Gerson LLP, Bert represents injured workers and their families before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board of the State of California. Since beginning practice in 1986, he has litigated thousands of cases before the WCAB and presented many issues to the Courts of Appeal.

A Certified Specialist is Workers’ Compensation by the State Bar of California since 2002, Bert has been a member of the State Bar of California on the Board of Governors of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association and serves as President of the CAAA – East Bay chapter. He has been recognized on multiple occasions by his peers as a Northern California Super Lawyer in workers’ compensation by San Francisco Magazine.

Bert has lectured extensively before unions and various groups in the workers’ compensation system such as CAAA educational panels, California Defense Attorneys Association seminars and trainings, State Bar of California educational panels, doctor groups, and others.
In addition to his work on behalf of injured workers and their families, Bert has extensive experience in criminal and civil litigation.
