Arjuna Farnsworth

Arjuna Farnsworth has always seen the law as a mechanism for helping people and delivering social justice. His earliest exposure to the legal system came through his mother, who worked in the office of famed defense and civil rights attorney Tony Serra. It is not surprising that, as an attorney, Arjuna finds trials to be the most exciting and personally rewarding part of his career.

Arjuna represents injured workers who have problems navigating through the confusing and complex workers’ compensation system. Experienced in handling workers’ comp cases, he was the lead counsel in over 500 cases during his time as an associate at Brown & McDevitt in Larkspur. Much of Arjuna’s work focuses on representing police officers, firefighters, and other peace officers in workers' compensation claims. Through this work, he has become an expert in the expanded benefits available to these professionals who put their lives on the line to protect the public. Police officers associations and other unions are welcome to invite Arjuna to give presentations to union staff and members interested in knowing more about this specialized area of the law.

He received his law degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2003, and has a B.A. in Political Science from University of California, Santa Barbara. He has been with Boxer & Gerson, LLP since 2006. Before joining the firm, Arjuna served California safety officers while working at the Law Office of Linda Brown, and was also an associate at Brown & McDevitt.
